Happy New Year everyone! May we all set dieting and workout goals and then just stop cause it's too hard by the 3rd week of January.😂 Well that's what me and my comp did, but it's going to go through the whole year. It's been nice eating healthy the last week. Definitely feeling better than I was just eating whatever the heck I want.
We have two baptisms this Sunday! Sister Florence and Sister Grace. I'm so excited for them. Both of them have been coming to Church for a long time but certain circumstances made it so they couldn't be baptised until now. Both of them have helped me learn the importance of planting seeds.
The past couple of weeks have definitely been different because of the holidays. It's been awesome to see The Lord's hand in his work though. One miracle from this week was when we went to see Sister Marium on Saturday to read the Book of Mormon. She ended up not being around. Her neighbor greeted us and wanted to know who we are. She had seen us come by a few times and didn't know what we did. We got talking to her and she seemed really cool. She eventually asked us if God really loves her, and if her pain will ever turn into joy. We answered both of the questions by simply pointing her to Jesus Christ. We helped her understand that plenty churches talk about peace in Christ, but don't know how to truly find it. We are going to teach her this week and I'm super excited about it. Another Miracle was just yesterday. A member brought her friend name Bernard to church. He told us that he really enjoyed and wants to join us. We will also teach him this week and I'm super excited about it.
Yesterday we got fed three times, and they were all fufu.... and fufu is mad heavy haha. Anyways the first one was from Abena, and bless her heart for feeding us, but it was mad sus. Fufu with goat meat, goat liver, goat intestine, and goat sperm. Yeah, goat sperm. 🤢 It wasn't pleasant. The next two fufu meals were from members, and they were delicious.
Transfers are next week so we will see if I stay. I've been in Nkawkaw for 6 months so I feel like I'm going to leave. I definitely don't want to though. I'm about to write President Kunz and beg him to stay haha.
