What up everyone?! I'm kind of tired today and so I'm going to try and keep this email simple. We had a baptism yesterday for Lydia. Her whole family is members and my companion taught her. She traveled for school for 4 months and randomly showed up this last week, so we got to baptize her.  We are going to extend baptismal invitations to Nelson, and Bismark (Lydia's brother) for this next Sunday. I've talked about Nelson's progress, he is a stud. Bismark's family are all members like I said, and he's 10 years old. We are going to finish teaching him this week so we can baptize him and Nelson at the same time.  Other than that, things are going as usual. Plenty of people to teach and meet with, so we are kept busy. That truly is a blessing.  Joseph's friends that we are teaching are progressing. It's awesome to see the domino effect take place in missionary work. Joseph has helped us teach them and it's been awesome. He is a straight stud and his...

So week 4 has nothing that's really crazy but it was a busy, busy week. We are up to about 25 potential investigators on our board right now cause we have been able to meet so many people, get referrals, and go proselyting with members. We are trying to take a step back and figure out who is the most serious, and who is the most ready to progress so we can focus on them. We are always busy, and if plans fall through there's always someone else to see. Its awesome how many people we have interested at this time, but it's hard to figure out who to focus on first.  Anyway, the zone leaders live with us so it's annoying when other elders come on exchange and absolutely yeet our kitchen. We went on exchange to Mpreaso this last week and when we got back our kitchen was absolutely blown up cause other people were on exchange here and didn't clean up after themselves. Us 4 elders in our apartment tagged teamed it though so it's okay hahah. On our exchange I was with El...

Week 3 Well this week was full of crazy stuff. On Monday we went and ate fufu and light soup with an investigator named Marium. She has a big family, but her older kids, Peter and Paul are 15 and interested as well. Anyways they fed us and then we taught them the Restoration on Wednesday. I'm hoping the best for them. They are good people, and they told us they would come to church on Sunday but they didn't.  Throughout the week we made progress with Ephraim and Neilson as well. They both want to be baptized which is great. We have to teach Neilson one more lesson, and He can be baptized, and for Ephraim he needs to make it to Church. He's been traveling the last couple of Sundays and hasn't been able to make it. He's not traveling again for 3 months so he will be able to make it to Church for the first time this Sunday.  As for Joseph I got to baptize him yesterday. I am so happy for him. He is a stud and the spirit was very strong during the service. I also got t...

Well my second week in the field was pretty crazy. On Tuesday we had a pretty normal day. Regular lessons, and throughout the week we made progress with Joseph, Ephraim, and Neilson. Joseph is on baptismal date, and Ephraim and Neilson are going to get baptized near the end of the transfer, they just need to come to church for the next two Sundays. The first time they made it to church was this last Sunday. Ephraim and Neilson we on lesson 3 when I got here so I've been able to see them grow by acting in faith, which has been so cool to see.  On Wednesday we went to help a member kill a pig and butcher it, and then some missionaries bought some of the meat. I didn't buy any. All I will say about it is that they don't have slaughter houses like the U.S. so it was hard to watch. The members name was Mormon which I thought was so cool! He also had a pet monkey which was actually so dope but the monkey was scared of us because we were white haha. Speaking of that, there's a...

Hey what's up everyone? It's my second week in the field and I'm loving it! My companion is Elder Gilbert from Preston Idaho. Me and him have a lot in common so we get along well. I'm in a city called Nkawkaw. Let me tell ya, Africa is nuts. The roads and the way the cities are put together are crazy. I'm in the only area in the mission that has mountains so that is nice. It stays a little colder here because of that. The people here are happy and humble even though the living circumstances are unlike anything I've ever seen.  On my first day proselyting,  I saw a few things I wish I hadn't but it's okay we don't need to talk about it๐Ÿ˜‚. We went and contacted for a little bit and then taught A bunch of kids. Out of those kids there were two 14 year Olds named Rawuf, and Quinsla. Both are super interested in the gospel and Rawuf knows the Book of Mormon is true now. We found out later this week that Rawuf is Muslim, but he told us his parents aren...
